Prevailing Wage Update at the Valley Contractors Association

Cook Brown Partner Carrie Bushman will present an overview of the latest updates to California’s prevailing wage law. She’ll focus on the new ready mix hauling requirements, including: the status of court challenges to these requirements; recordkeeping requirements, including eCPR; and, new skilled and trained workforce requirements that mandate the use of apprenticeship program graduates on certain jobs.

Also hear about the new law requiring contractors to pay apprentices for pre-employment processes, effective January 1, 2017.
