Alexis is a strategic litigator who collaborates with employers to navigate complex legal challenges while minimizing operational disruptions.
Alexis has extensive experience handling class and PAGA litigation, as well as discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims under state and federal law. She has represented clients in state and federal courts, before administrative agencies, and in private arbitration, managing cases from the pleading stage through trial. With a broad background spanning various industries – including construction, retail, hospitality, health care, financial services, transportation, manufacturing, prison contractors and cannabis – she provides practical, business-focused guidance that helps employers adapt to evolving laws and effectively address the unique demands of litigation. Her ability to anticipate challenges and craft tailored strategies makes her a trusted advisor for businesses seeking efficient, effective solutions in today’s fast-paced legal environment.
Before joining Cook Brown, Alexis practiced at a leading Am Law 100 firm, representing Fortune 500 companies in both complex and single-plaintiff litigation.
When not representing employers, Alexis enjoys Pilates, yoga, hiking, and hunting for mushrooms in Missouri’s beautiful state parks with her husband and son.

Education
Alexis graduated from Georgetown University Law Center and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, San Diego. In law school, Alexis was a National Association of Women Lawyers award recipient and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Drug Law and Policy.
