GENERAL PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Regina Silva is an associate in the Santa Ana office. Ms. Silva has extensive experience representing and advising employers in various matters including employment discrimination, sexual harassment, labor negotiations, wrongful discharge, wage and hour, health and safety, employment policies, litigation prevention, and prevailing wage. She has appeared before various state and federal agencies and courts. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for a national employment and labor firm representing management primarily in the hospitality industry, and for the San Diego City Attorney's Office in the employment and labor advisory group.

Ms. Silva is a graduate of the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. As a law student, she clerked for the U.S. Attorney's Office in Sacramento, where she was responsible for misdemeanor cases. Ms. Silva received her B.A. degree in political science from the University of California Berkeley. Prior to her work as an employment and labor attorney, Ms. Silva was a prosecutor for the California Attorney General's Office, and for the Sacramento District Attorney's Office.

Ms. Silva is a member of the California State Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and La Raza Lawyers.
