GENERAL PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Leslie Patko is an associate in the Santa Ana office. Her practice includes litigating and advising employers in labor disputes, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, wage and hour, class actions, and other employment law matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Patko practiced with an employment and business litigation firm, concentrating on complex wage and hour class actions. Ms. Patko also worked as a human resources professional for five years before attending law school.
Ms. Patko received her Bachelor of Arts degree and a certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of California, Irvine. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
While at Loyola Law School, Ms. Patko worked as an extern for the Honorable Judge Robert L. Hess at the Los Angeles Superior Court, and as a research assistant for professor and frequent news commentator Laurie Levenson. She also assisted the felony division at the office of the Orange County District Attorney as a certified law clerk. Ms. Patko volunteered at the Cancer Legal Resource Center at Loyola, and has mentored first year students through the Loyola Women’s Law Association and the Alumni Association.
Ms. Patko is licensed to practice law before all California state courts as well as the federal court for the Central District of California. She is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and its labor and employment law section.
