GENERAL PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Robert L. Boucher is an associate in the Sacramento office. His practice includes litigating and advising employers in labor disputes, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, wage and hour, class actions, and other employment law matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Boucher practiced personal injury and general civil litigation, including matters involving employment discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims.
Mr.
Boucher graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco.
While attending law school, he clerked with Judge Russell D. Pulver,
U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges, drafting
the judge’s opinions on civil procedure, whistleblower and benefits
issues. In addition, Mr. Boucher gained valuable legal experience clerking
with diverse entities including non-profits and advocacy law firms.
Influenced by his experience, Mr. Boucher earned four writing and research
merit awards while in law school.
Mr. Boucher received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from San Francisco State University, and has an extensive background in software engineering. He is a member of the California Bar Association, the Bar Association of San Francisco, the American Bar Association and Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom.
